I absolutely love coming here. The owner stylist is always pleasant and smiling and my hair always comes out perfectly. My hair is natural so I got a wash, protein treatment, blow dry, trim and style. This is the best Dominican hair salon hands down.

I really like the shop, however, I will not go back. I have 2 daughters, 14 and 11. While they both have beautiful hair, they both have different kinds of hair. I took my 14 year old for a silk press and the stylist did a great job. I took my 11 year old 2 weeks later and it wasn't the same. My daughters are semi-mixed girls and my 11 year olds hair requires more grease than my oldest. The stylist, after washing my daughters hair, tells me they couldn't get the grease out. She flat ironed my daughters hair anyway and it was horrible. I used to work in salons years ago and we all knew that lemon dish soap is how you remove grease from hair. The fact that they didn't know that, was very puzzling to me. Why would she continue if she knew it wouldn't turn out right? Or did she even know at all? So for this reason, I will not go back. I feel like they are more about making the money rather than the healthiness of the clients hair. I have to find a salon that is more knowledgeable about black hair.

Yall so I really needed my ends trimmed because they hadn’t been trimmed in years 5 or more to be exact????.

I had never been to a Dominican salon before but they accept walks in and they weren’t busy well I came at 11am.
So I was thinking I’m not sure how they handle my kind of hair. I have 4b and the wash and the style were very nice. I would give them 10 but it’s only 5 stars.

The employee was polite on the phone and provided a fair price. She explained that I was able to come in the same day but was also considerate of my time by letting me know that there were a handful of clients being serviced at the time of my call/desired time frame. I decided to come in a few hours later as suggested and did not have to wait for more than 10 minutes.
